　　Yesterday, the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has closed.

 

　　This time, many reporters and friends have come, many of them come from afar. Everyone made a lot of and full coverage of the conference, which has aroused widespread concern around the world. You have worked hard! I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you!

 

　　Since the opening of the conference, 855 congratulatory messages have been sent to 452 major political parties in 165 countries. Among them, 814 were sent by heads of state, heads of government, political parties and leaders of important organizations. Here, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to them!

 

　　At the First Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the new Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was elected. I will continue to serve as the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee. This is an affirmation to me, but it is a spur and encouragement.

 

　　Now, I would like to introduce to you the other six standing colleagues: Li Keqiang, Comrade Li Zheshu, Comrade Wang Yang, Comrade Wang Huning, Comrade Zhao Leji, Comrade Han Zheng. Among them, Comrade Li Keqiang is a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 18th CPC Central Committee. 　　Here, on behalf of the new members of the CPC Central Committee, I sincerely thank all the comrades for their trust in us. We must do our duty, work diligently, do not disgrace our mission, and do not care.

 

　　In the past five years, we have done a lot of work, some have already been completed, and some have to continue. The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has put forward new goals and tasks. We must coordinate and implement them.

 

　　After a long period of hard work, socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era. There must be a new era in the new era, and new things must be done. The five years from the 19th to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China are in the historical convergence period of achieving the goal of "two hundred years". The first goal of the 100th year is to be realized, and the goal of the second century is to begin. There are some important time nodes in this, which are the coordinates of our work.

 

　　——In 2018, we will usher in the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up. Reform and opening up is the key to determining the destiny of contemporary China. The 40 years of reform and opening up have enabled the Chinese people to live a well-off life and gradually become richer. We will sum up experience and take advantage of the situation, continue to promote the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity, unswervingly deepen reforms in all aspects, unswervingly expand openness, and make reform and opening up mutually reinforcing and complement each other. I firmly believe that the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will surely be realized in the process of reform and opening up.

 

　　- In 2019, we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. We will implement the new development concept and promote the sustained and healthy development of the Chinese economy and benefit the Chinese people and people of all countries. We will continue to implement the tasks set out in the 13th Five-Year Plan, make new plans for future development, promote the all-round development of all undertakings, and build our People's Republic to be more prosperous and strong.

 

　　——In 2020, we will build a well-off society in an all-round way. To build a well-off society in an all-round way, one must not be less; on the road of common prosperity, one cannot fall behind. We will take the power of the whole party and the whole country and resolutely complete the task of getting rid of poverty and ensuring our commitment. We must bear in mind that the people's longing for a better life is our goal, adhere to the people-centered development ideology, strive to safeguard and improve people's livelihood, and constantly enhance the people's sense of well-being, happiness, and security. All the people are wealthy together. I firmly believe that the Chinese people's life will certainly be better every year.

 

　　- In 2021, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The Communist Party of China is determined to be a great cause for the Chinese nation. The Communist Party of China is the largest political party in the world. Big will have a big look. Practice has fully proved that the Chinese Communist Party can lead the people to carry out a great social revolution and also to carry out a great self-revolution. We must always be full of vigor and vitality, and we will always be the public servants of the people, the pioneers of the times, and the backbone of the nation. The party that is strictly governed by the party will always be on the road, and there must be no thought of taking a breather and resting. We will continue to eliminate all the viruses that erode the healthy body of the party, vigorously create a political ecology that is clean and tidy, and gather the powerful forces that promote China's development and progress in the whole society with the strong positive energy of the whole party.

 

　　The Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese people have come from suffering and know the value of peace and the value of development. The Chinese people are confident and self-respecting and will firmly safeguard national sovereignty, security, and development interests. At the same time, they will work together with the people of all countries to actively promote the building of a community of human destiny and make new and greater contributions to the lofty cause of peace and development of mankind.
